三井寿 プロフィール

武石中学（ユニフォームの色は白）時代、同中学を神奈川県大会優勝に導き、また同大会のMVPを獲得した天才シューター。

大会決勝で優勝への原動力となった安西の「あきらめたらそこで試合終了」という言葉に感銘を受け、安西への恩返しを誓って強豪高校からの誘いを断り湘北へ入る。

入学早々、抜群のセンスで早くもエースを期待されるが、練習試合で左膝の怪我を負ってしまい、そこに同級生のライバル赤木が見せた活躍を目の当りにし挫折。

心からバスケが好きであり、入院中でも病院を抜け出してバスケをすることもあった。

自らを「エース」や「スーパースター」などと称する自信家で過去は少々うぬぼれていた部分もあり、中学時代MVPを獲得するほどの自他共に認める天才だった故にプライドが高く、挫折による影響で悪の道に入ってしまう。

2年間も自暴自棄な生活を送り、不良仲間とつるんで過ごし、湘北のバスケ部を逆恨みするようになる（ただし、バスケへの未練のためか、一度も煙草は吸わなかった）。
